Prof. Yang Yue

Xi'an Jiaotong University, China

Bio:

Yang Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interest is intelligent photonics, including optical communications, optical perception, and optical chip. He has published ~300 journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >12,000 citations, one book, seven edited books, two book chapters, >60 issued or pending patents, >200 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >30 plenary and >80 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Fellow of SPIE, a Senior Member of IEEE and Optica. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and Frontiers in Physics, Editor Board Member for four other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. He also served as Chair or Committee Member for >100 international conferences, Reviewer for >70 prestigious journals.

Prof. Baoping Zhang

Bio: 

Bao-Ping Zhang was born in Hebei Prefecture, China, in 1963. He received the B.S. degree in physics in 1983 from Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China, the M.E. degree in electronic engineering in 1986 from Hebei Semiconductor Research Institute (HSRI), Shijiazhuang, China, and the Dr. Eng. degree in applied physics in 1994 from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan.,From 1986 to 1989, he was with HSRI, during 1994–1998, he was with the Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN), Sendai, Japan; from 1998 to 1999, Sharp Corporation, Nara, Japan; from 1999 to 2005, RIKEN, Sendai, Japan; from 1999 to 2006, RIKEN and the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), Saitama, Japan. In 2006, he joined the Department of Physics, Xiamen University, Xiamen, China, as a Professor. He has been engaged in the fabrication and characterization of films, nanostructures, and devices of InP, GaAs, ZnSe, ZnO, and GaN material systems.

Prof. Tao Lei

Shaanxi University of

Science & Technology, China

Bio: 

Tao Lei is a Professor of the Third Grade, a Ph.D. supervisor, a member of the university's academic committee, and the Vice Dean of the School of Electronics, Information, and Artificial Intelligence. He is also a senior member of CCF, CSIG, and IEEE. He serves as a committee member of the Visual Sensing Committee of the China Society of Image and Graphics, a committee member of the Image Analysis Division of the Chinese Society for Stereology, and an executive director of the Shaanxi Society of Image and Graphics. Additionally, he was the co-chair of the 16th International Conference on Neural Computation, Fuzzy Systems and Knowledge Discovery (ICNC-FSKD 2020) and has held roles such as chair, publicity chair, and awards committee chair for several international conferences.

His primary research areas include Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning.
